Not all age divisions and classifications use the same postseason format therefore, not all have the same postseason qualifying requirements. Locate your team's age division and classification below to review all postseason qualification requirements for your team. |

ROOKIE DIVISIONS

4U - 5U State Tournaments
4U - 5U World Series Exhibition
State Tournaments: The first level of postseason play for the Rookie divisions is the State Tournaments. The 4U and 5U State Tournaments are OPEN events meaning any 4U or 5U team that registers with USSSA and completes their Official Online Roster is eligible to participate in their age divisions State Tournament.
World Series Exhibition: To advance to the World Series Exhibition, teams must earn a World Series Exhibition berth by finishing high enough in final standings of their State Tournament (usually 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th places). Qualifying teams will participate in the Opening Ceremonies and play games during the week of the Junior World Series.

6U - 8U State Tournaments
6U - 8U Final Four Championship Series
6U - 8U World Series
State Tournaments (6U Only): The first level of postseason play are the State Tournaments. To be eligible to participate in State Tournaments, 6U teams must either play in a Georgia USSSA Baseball Sanctioned League or play in a minimum of two (2) Georgia USSSA Baseball Sanctioned Tournament (i.e.; USSSA Qualifier, Global Sports World Series Qualifier, USSSA NIT, USSSA Super NIT) between January 1st and June 9th of the current season. Travelball Select (TbS) events are not included in the above qualification requirements.

To be eligible to participate in State Tournaments, 7U & 8U teams must either play in a Georgia USSSA Baseball Sanctioned League or play in a minimum of four (4) Georgia USSSA Baseball Sanctioned Tournament (i.e.; USSSA Qualifier, Global Sports World Series Qualifier, USSSA NIT, USSSA Super NIT) between January 1st and June 9th of the current season. Final Four Championship: To advance to the Final Four Championship, teams must win a State Tournament.
NOTE: The Final Four Championship is not offered for the 7U Coach Pitch & 8U Coach Pitch divisions due to World Series date conflicts.
World Series: To advance to the World Series, teams must earn a World Series berth by finishing high enough in final standings of a Qualifying Tournament (i.e.; Qualifier, Global Qualifier, NIT, Super NIT, State Tournament). The actual placing in the final standings will vary based on the number of teams entered (usually the top 25%). All World Series berths must be validated by the team playing in a Georgia USSSA Baseball State Tournament.

6U - 16U State Tournaments
6U - 16U World Series
State Tournaments: The first level of postseason play are the State Tournaments. State Tournament berths are awarded to USSSA Sanctioned Leagues based on the quantity of regular season registered teams (usually a 4 - 1 ratio, i.e.; one All-Star team for every four teams registered in that specific age division).
World Series: Any team that fulfills their State Tournament commitment may advance to the World Series. The "D-1" State Tournament Champion ONLY is awarded a paid berth to the National All-Star World Series in Louisiana.

Elite 32 World Series: To advance to the Elite 32 World Series at ESPN's Wide World of Sports at Disney World, teams must earn an Elite 32 World Series berth by finishing high enough in final standings of a Super NIT (usually 1st place). All World Series berths must be validated by the team playing in a Georgia USSSA Baseball State Tournament.
Global World Series: To advance to the Global World Series, teams must earn a Global World Series berth by playing in a Global World Series Qualifier. All World Series berths must be validated by the team playing in a Georgia USSSA Baseball State Tournament.

The 15U, 16U, 18U, JV & Varsity AA, AAA, Major & Scholastic State Tournaments are OPEN event meaning any team that registers with USSSA and completes their Official Online Roster is eligible to participate.
World Series: To advance to the World Series, teams must participate in the State Tournament (not win, participate).
